FAQ
Questions
Do I need FDSIQ to use ScaffIQ?+
No. ScaffIQ compiles I/O and tag declarations on its own. FDSIQ is for teams that also want the design captured as structured data upstream, with a client-ready .docx generated automatically.
Is there a monthly subscription?+
No. Every package is priced per Project. You pay once for what that Project needs.
Do you offer invoicing or credit terms?+
No. Every Project is pay-as-you-go. Credit terms mean carrying risk and running collections, both of which get priced into the product for every customer whether they use them or not. Paying only when you use it is part of how we keep prices at a fraction of the value delivered.
What happens to a Project after it's compiled?+
Projects are retained for 55 days after last access, with a warning at 35 days and again at 45 days. Download your deliverables during that window. After 55 days of inactivity, the Project is deleted.
Who is this priced for, can anyone use it?+
EngineeredIQ products are built for qualified engineers (Controls, Process Control, Systems Integration, EI&C or Applications), not as a substitute for one. The Engineer of Record must review and authorise every generated output before it reaches a live system, accepting full professional responsibility for the result.
